repairs هزینه تعمیرات

repairs plural : the portion of maintenance charges expended to keep fixed assets in adequate and efficient operating condition and recorded on the books as expense — contrasted with renewal and replacement  

بخشی از هزینه نگهداری (maintenance charges) را گویند که برای حفظ دارایی های ثابت (fixed assets) در وضعیت عملیاتی کافی و کارآمد (آماده به کار؛ سالم) هزینه می گردد. این هزینه در دفاتر به صورت هزینه (expense) ثبت می گردد. در مقابل «هزینه تعمیرات» (repairs)، هزینه های مربوط به نوسازی و جایگزینی (renewal and replacement) را داریم.
